December 13, 2005 - Physical Modeling Experiments to Guide River Restoration Projects: Implications for Restoring Dam-Impacted Rivers

by Mary Malko last modified 2006-10-27 14:05
This workshop (the first of three workshops associated with this project) concentrated on showcasing the state-of-the-art experimental facility, explanation of the experimental designs, and presentation of preliminary results. The goal of the workshop was to facilitate an open dialogue between project scientists and the restoration community to ensure that the experiments being conducted are the most relevant to the current issues surrounding river restoration design and implementation within dam-impacted watersheds.
